Friends tell me I should just keep an eye on various ski-fences to find my beloved old Rossi TRS. Ha!

I have some 210 Rossi's. I used to ski 205's back in the day and 210's always felt too long and still do.

I'd love some 200 or 205 if anyone has some they're not using! Cash money!

I'm also considering some 200 Kneissl Red Stars. Are they anywhere in the same ballpark as the Rossi's?

...I also had a pair of 200 Swallow TR's in '86 that I really liked in the bumps. And a pair of 210's that I didn't like.

Anyone have any idea how the Red Stars might compare to the Rossi's? I think the RS are single camber. Width seems similar. That's all I got! Are the RS superlight like the TRS? In the same ballpark? I suppose the TRS were crazy light. Foam core XC skis, really. I blew up a pair just from skiing in soft snow. I don't know exactly what about the TRS made me love them but they worked great for me for years. I must have sold my 205's during a pretend downsizing. Then I regretted and replaced with 210's which are just too long.

I'd love to buy another pair of TRS in 205 or 200! Anyone? ...Or something LIKE them. I don't think I'm fussy. I only skied the Rossis and Swallows back then.

Since then I've tried Dynastars, 190cm x 90mm. Yeah kinda modern. Yeah kinda OK sometimes.

And a friend gave me fat Fischer Atua's -- 120mm? -- which seem fine for my old plastic T1's.

But I still love my Asolo Extremes. And my 210 Rossi's made me smile like a cat. ...So I'm just looking for the same but shorter!
