Alaskas anywhere?
After reading reviews on this site, I'm looking for a pair of Alpina Alaska NNN BC boots in size 44. I can't find them anywhere near me, or online. Do any of you guys know anywhere that has them in stock. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Alaskas anywhere?
I got lucky last week -- my local shop had 1 pair of Alaska BC -- happened to be in my size! They don't sell online, so you would never know thy had them in the shop from seeing their website -- pretty sure their website doesn't even show the Alpina logo. Point being (if there is one, besides gloating) that these boots are probably available (in very limited supply) in other local shops (that might be willing to ship?), but it would take some serious work to track them down -- many phone calls (or emails I guess) -- might not be worth it.
Of course, you could get lucky -- posting here just might turn up something.
Good luck.

Re: Alaskas anywhere?
i was looking for alaskas in 47 a up to a few weeks ago. finally found them on ebay. set up an ebay saved search for alpina alaska and some may come up for you too. while i was looking, i noted pairs of alaskas popping up on the rei site in random sizes at random times. they would usually not last for more than a day before selling.
good luck with your search!

Sport Albert in Germany has them in your size but shipping to US is about $70.

Found some!! I was actually a 43, so I’m glad I didn’t order online.
High Peaks Cyclery in Lake Placid had a lot of Alaskas. Also got a set of Traverse 78 crown, too.
Thanks for all the replies.
