This is the World Famous TelemarkTalk / TelemarkTips / Telemark Francais Forum, by far the most dynamic telemark and backcountry skiing discussion board on the world wide web since 1998. East, West, North, South, Canada, US or Europe, Backcountry or not. http://eddie.dnsprive.com/~telemark/
Here's a little something-something. It's not tele, but definitely stoke-a-licious...

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
Looks great, but doesn't mean you're out of mud season yet.

Oh, this could be the ultimate tease! It's happened before.....get a foot of snow in mid-October, warm up, melt and then in January it starts to snow again!

The Wasatch on Thursday:
Of course, it's 60 degrees today!
Another 6" forecast on Monday. I feel like Charli Brown with Lucy holding the football, though!

Another 7" at Deer Valley over night.
So far, I think we're up to 30" (76cm) pre-season. Looks like another storm coming in Sunday, with yet another lined up for next week.
Then I'm sure it'll warm up, the snow will stop and we'll all be wondering what the heck happened!

This past weekend. To most on this forum, no big deal. But 50°F is a stokeworthy based on geography.

Snow in the Wasatch is disappearing (Maybe 3 days of storms coming). But up on the Schilthorn this morning?
Heaven!
