November snow- S/E Ontario

Did anyone get that Colorado Low in Ontario? We got 15 cm (1 foot) of snow last night in one shot. Sticky stuff.

Eager to get some exercise I got out the Salomon Snowscape 7s (Waxless I believe). The snow was packing so bad on the bottom I could not hardly slide. Disappointing cause the snow was fresh, but likely just too mild air and the ground still warm after record warmth the days before. Packing snow just would not let me glide. I tried for about 4km but I was getting really tired having to walk with the skis on.

Gurus: in such conditions is there anything one can do with Wax skis. I know there likely is. I know there is so teach me please. Do you guys/gals stock many different pairs for such sticky mild snow or do you just break out the right wax and Swix away?

I am a lazy skier. I love to ski but am so lazy to prep as the weather is just so up and down I would be waxing a lot. Is there a solution? Or just wait for colder ground and air to glide with my Salomon Snowscape 7s?

I did get my exercise last night and still enjoyed being out so earlier for this area. Scratched my bases on sand on some sidewalk and street sand though I see..oops :?

Keep sacrificing those virgins! (They don't have to be ACTUAL virgins).
