Hey guys, I'm super new to most things Nordic. I'm trying find some teles but I was recently given these skis... Way too big for me.
Can anyone help me identify them?

They are basically a Fischer E99/Asnes Gamme 54 class ski. Long traditional XC ski with a slightly wider platform for backcountry travel. You would use these to go the distance in the woods to "do the deed."

62-54-59 is the sidecut width in millimeters. You can compare this to the Fischer E99: 66-54-61

Waxless base, so you don't necessarily need grip wax to get a kick, you use the mechanical friction of the scales on the bottom against the snow to get the purchase you need to kick forward.

Depending on your weight, a good woods cruising ski. Will take some skill to learn how to turn them if you are new to telemark.

Karhu was a good ski company that made good skis. There is no reason to put them in the garbage, but they are probably not worth much if selling is your goal ($100 or less IF IF IF you can find the customer, MY OPINION ONLY).

A great ski in its day and might be useful for you in the future. The GT has a modest wax pocket while the Comp did not.
For now, pull the binding and mount on a shorter, medium width ski. You will learn much faster. The optimum mount position for turns is further forward than for striding by the way.

My partner was given a pair of these and she skied them modestly for 3 years or so.

I had an earlier version of that ski and never learned to tele like Tim Caldwell. When the skis were 25 years old I used them to make a garden gate in the back yard.I still use short leashes like the ones on your skis to avoid any hassle inbounds. I've never had a tele 3 pin release.
