So what is it? Mitch is back or what? Obviously this thing was 'upgraded'.
Well, I'm glad to see the forum online again! Hope it's here to stay!

Re: First post!
I tried to contact the previous owner several times when the site started to go offline from time to time last year. Mentioning that TelemarkTalk was very important in my everyday life. And that I really wanted to keep the site alive for future generations of tele skiers. But I never got any replies.
When the domain expired this fall, it was sold in an GoDaddy auction. I really didn't want the forum to go away so I bid until I won the auction. That was stupid, but the idea of losing the TT community was priceless to me. So I paid the full market value, not just the price of a standard domain name. (So expensive for a full time ski bum like me, had to sell 2 pairs of boots to pay for it!). But I guess anything related to Tele"marketing" is worth a few bucks in this digital age.
I would have really liked to be able to get access to the old database, as to me, the old TT board was the most useful tele information on the planet. But my requests were ignored. So unfortunately, this huge archive of information is lost and there's nothing I can do about it.
I just hope you are just as excited as I am about the new Telemark Talk. I really missed the forum, and I really need my daily TT fix! Boy, 6 months without the TT forum, I wonder how I survived...!
My only intention here is to keep the TT community alive. Remember, skiing is all about fun. Please feel free to share your ideas, I'm open to all your suggestions to make this place even more fun...
So spread the word everywhere and let the talk begin!
(Sorry for my poor english BTW... : )
