NNN-BC toe bumper stiffness

I remember way back when one could get different stiffness toe-bumpers. Do they still do this, especially for the NNN-BC? Or is what you buy stock what you get now?

It was probably the same people who would infer that a cable binding is a less pure form of XCD than a three pin binding.lilcliffy wrote:I seem to remember being told I was full of BS for suggesting that the flexor influenced the "activeness" of the binding...
Twould appear that Rottefella's intent for the stiffer more active red flexor is for Nordic skating...Hi Gareth,
We have black flexor which is standard, and red flexor for ice-skating. You can order through our distributor: info@alpinasports.com.

Yeah, the red NNN ones are obviously for skating... But for NNN-BC...? Why would anyone want a stiff flexor except for downhill purposes? Nobody is using NNNBC for downhill... Nobody is making turns on NNNBC...!lilcliffy wrote:Twould appear that Rottefella's intent for the stiffer more active red flexor is for Nordic skating...
