Deer Valley closes on the 11th of April. I'm at 76 days today. I'll get over 80....maybe 85....but my body is getting pretty beaten up!
We'll see!
We'll see!

Fantastic day — better than I was hoping for.
Everything from Spring Snow to Powder, back in the trees and NE face.
I was having so much fun I overstayed my welcome as the sun sank towards the ridge, turning buttery spring snow into mean breakable crust — I won’t make THAT mistake again!
(No pictures of that — that would hurt my ego!)

I don't remember where you are located. This almost looks like Star Valley. Is this up in Wyoming?Stephen wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 11:05 pmFantastic day — better than I was hoping for.

Went through there on the way from Park City to kayak Lunch Counter, the whole Alpine Canyon run, the Greys and further up to the Gros Ventre many times. My wife loves throwing a lawn chair out on the flat rock area at L.C. while I get worked!
We used to head out to the little campground up Granite Creek with my family when the kids were young to camp and hit Granite Hot Springs.
Very good times, beautiful area!

IS. NOT. OVER. UNTIL. WE. SAY. IS. OVER!
Riel and Woods Go On Adventure.
It was actually better than this picture indicates, but there were some spots.
Riel was on Sondres with Universal Klister which worked well.
I was on the MT51's with Univeral Klister and swapped to the E99's and got about the same grip as the klister skis, interestingly enough.
Klister is magic.

So did you guys have proper carbo drinks to enjoy the klister scraping process after the ski? It looked like a pretty good red klister day. However when I order more klister, I will add universal silver klister for the days I want a little more sticky than blue, but when I would be starting on a below freezing base

Re: Pictures, pictures and pictures!
This was universal klister, not even the silver universal. Silver has a smaller temperature window, according to the tube. I think it's for very high abrasion.fisheater wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 8:11 pmSo did you guys have proper carbo drinks to enjoy the klister scraping process after the ski? Today was 46f-50f (at least).
They make an Extreme Wet Klister, I'd be interested in trying that out next.

Re: Pictures, pictures and pictures!
I am in a race with my neighbor.. gotta get my last ski dose before he starts harvesting the hay
Although it look promising from distance, the snow conditions were pretty harsh but still I could manage a couple of km on Ingstad and skin... I try to spare myself to put klister. I could see where I skied this winter as the snow was consolidated. All winter I thought the snow would melt fast as we had no base... well that is confirmed as the snow took more time to melt in my trails or snowmobiles trails. There is still a patch of snow to be skied along the forest on the sour side of the field as it protects it from the sun. Also, it act as a wind breaker and the snow was blown there by the wind as well as being packed. We expected 10-15 cm but unfortunately we might finally get 4-5 I gotta stop looking at the pictures posted by @Tom M or I will get ski sick
