The most unique telemark style I have seen is in this video:



It recently occurred to me why that looks so unique. One thing Ishikida emphasizes as being different about b-tele is the lack of up-down movement. Well, there are people who telemark knee-to-ski, and have no vertical movement:

I can't remember what video it was that I was watching but I watched a montage that was a couple minutes long of tele skiing and then at the end they tacked on a few p-turns and it just looked like a strange wiggle. A good hard carve on fixed heel looks great but tele looks more natural. Idk, I went hiking and had some fireball. Happy Saturday
