Up in the highlands just off the 420 highway.....headed up into a zebra forest....light and shadows create a wonderful visual environment. Skiing powder continues....figure from the first of January.....close to a 12 week run of NOTHING but POWDER....Best in my memory....Wonderful arcs to be had....e109's slicing and riding exceptionally well....Will head up there soon...TM

I haven't been into the psychedelics in many years... I'm high on life these days (and probably nursing the residual effects). But I was just checking - you never know... guys out in the woods with beards on xc skis with their hands in the air talking about visuals... some people might wonder ;)

Hmmm. Sounds more like bong rips than mushrooms or acid.;)

I think I know what Tman looks like, and I just can't picture him hitting a bong... smoking a joint... with a Labatt Blue... yeah.

You know between Potsdam, Paul Smith's and Burlington, I don't think I've ever seen so much dope. Some of it must be up in the Kingdom as well.

I spent many years on the 420 Highway... it started to roughen out at the end, so I pulled off. I also gave up the Labatt Blue - that stuff is horrible!

Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled program

Now-now....there is a 420 hi way....beater old dirt road that the locals call the 420....First year in many haven't seen an upended abandoned car up there....East West road so it has a high, gap at the height of road....2200 feet is up there for around here.....Never knew till a couple years back when some of the boys clued me in....Also two German chemical engineers visited and both loved Labatts.....Just got my Grandfathers bayonet from the Boxer Rebellion...pretty cool....and a silk citation with his picture in the German imperial eagle with the German and German Marine flag in setting....Going to have to read up on the Boxer Rebellion again.....Thinking the Germans were not well liked even then....heh....LEATHERS.....PINS.....CAMBER.....SKINNY....Krouts!!!!! TM

I'm a Kraut, mainly only in spirit though... most of my ancestors were here turn of the century or just before WWI... so I'm really an American by a long shot.

Can't believe those guys liked Labatts - I read a lot of Germans drink Becks too - bleh. They have so many amazing beers, mostly from Munich and the outskirts in Bavaria. I don't much like the Northern German beers... Kolsch... never found one I liked.

Wurst... Mittelscharf... Helles Lager... Bock... Dunkel... Leathers... Skinnies!
