The Ski Lite / XCD thread
Re: The Ski Lite / XCD thread
TOB...being pinners we will ski a dh area if we can get a good deal....Course there have been very few good deals in the last decade....If the snow is good we spend most of our time out in the hills....Vermont has some of the best brew in the...ummm...anywhere but we will not carry bottles for obvious reasons....Go to beer Labatts Blue....but will swill down most anything if desperate....Kinda liking Farmhouse?????...or something like that...."Real skiing is anywhere your skiing....TM
Re: The Ski Lite / XCD thread
Well Toby,
I don't smoke..and I prefer a good pale ale or a smooth IPA --not
that you know WTF those are
When I XCD, it's generally at a local Nordic center where I can
use the trails to access some great meadow skipping or
some steeper drops..Or sometimes I go climb the DH areas
when they are closed..Mostly I/we ski the trees Sc and inbounds
at DH areas as most of my ski friends tend not to do much XCD
these days.. But we certainly EARN a lot of turns..unlike some posers..
Bruce, this one turned out really well..Is that Telekid ?

Hey Tobo,
It's just a wonderful drop though almost-always
untouched snow..It's only 7-800 vert, and then you skate
down an old railroad grade for 1/2 mile and then climb 300
feet to the Montana lift..There's no parking lot involved sweetie! But keep tryin!
Oh honey, I'm sorry you wanted some super STEEPS to prove "CORE" ..
I'll get right on that!
<Drumroll> Bring on the Warren Miller and TGR shit!!!

Gee, Titsonaboar,
I only ski lite for fun...Not to be
a big swingin' E-No-T dick like you!
I generally ski with T2's or T-race and K2 Backups (pretty lite)
or Mantras..Depends on mood and conditions..Sometimes
I do take the T4's and lite Terrains to the lifts for lotsa turns
practice.. Again, while I enjoy skiing lite now and then, I drinking NOTHING
lite !..Coors and Kokanee were the lightest beers drunk when the KTB's were
here, and we did have some damned good brews at various pubs! GET IT RIGHT!

You are so right ..about so little..
Voile is still selling these "outdated" bindings..
No wait, I am confused, does that not make them
"current"? WTF?
And God-dammit! they went up 10 bux ..$95 now!!!
Bullshit!
BTW, it's all the rage to drink PBR amongst the ski bums out here..just so ya know..And it's not a bad little
watery, slightly sweet delight..But I prefer a good IPA or pale..
