Taking a brrak for a beer after 7 runs down. Wasn't going to come because of forecast high winds but glad I did. They had 4" midweek and snowing all morming, and they didn't groom anything. This morming the runs via tow rope were untouched. I got up courage to try my hand at blues today since there was some good snow. Started by making wider radius turns to keep speed down then gradually started adding more speed and less turn. Then the first blue after toe rope got some use and all tracked up so moved to the next blue. May switch from Kongsvold to Nansen after my beer since there are some spots where I was skidding on hard pack under the new snow and metal edge will help.
Thanks again for recommending this place to learn, it's great. I think I could be ready for midwest telefest and will buy a beer if any of you folks want, even @connyro
