I have the sense that often, when something has been put to you directly on the forum, you tend to dodge directly answering the question.
This makes it difficult to make progress in a discussion, which is evidenced by two of the longest posts in recent TTalk history.
I have gotten the same feeling. Takes the fun out of the debate, an argument should meet either a counter-argument, or acceptance.

Not sure how that's meant... Anyway, Sarte nails how trolls argue, long before there was an Internet. There's no point engaging with them honestly, because they're uninterested in honesty. If moderators won't block them, best not to feed the trolls.

Actually, no: the rhetorical style, as you'd admit if you commented in good faith. But it's curious how people with conservative political views do argue like the people Sartre criticises. They should probably reflect on that...
Yeah, I have a new account. I'm new to telemarking and I enjoy reading about the subject. In the last couple weeks I've made my first turns and the activity on this forum has helped that incredibly. The "troll" you are referring to has increased traffic on this forum 10x. It's undeniable. Whether they're right or wrong, they're contributing. And you're comparing them to antisemites. Sorry, but it's gaslighting. And not surprising from somebody constantly mentioning the friend/foe function. It's a public forum, trolls contribute just like their critics, and gets everybody thinking.
