So solid, Rod. So solid. Great piece. Wow.Rodbelan wrote:That place in the Jura seems sweet...
Here is another one, very sober too but in a different way. Very surprising production from Redbull; you almost want to be friend with the guy (Jérémie Heitz), unlike the other freeride heroes that RB usually portrays...

Those kinda turns always put a smile on my face. That's what gets me goin. I'm in the process of reviving those jump and step turns back into my repetoir. I'm sticken with my current tight stance though.

Very interesting... This one escaped my vigilance... Pretty valuable also because of that Rick Borkovec interview; first time I see him in a vid. Thanks Lj...LoveJohnny wrote:My vision of telemark skiing...

The old 80's gear actually worked pretty good, it just took a lot more stabilizing muscle. And when things went wrong they did so in spectacularly comical fashion.LoveJohnny wrote:Dudes, those guys were like the best telemark skiers on the planet!
Imagine yourself in a 55 degree ravine, with over 6" of super-heavy fresh spring slush with only heavy skis, 3-pin bindings and leather shoes. Seriously, there is no other way to go down. That was 1988! Those guys ROCK!: )
