I suspect if the MT51 works ok, the Gamme 54 which are slightly wider with a touch more sidecut would be even better... will get those next season at a shorter length...170cm
Report back on this. The Gamme is almost the same profile as the famed Glitterind-- but from what I can tell on the forum quite a different flex. Maybe short gamme is the modern short glitterind? Skate skis ski so well on corn that I think light and narrow -- even if a bit stiff-- may ski well.
In the meantime, I think the undersized S-98s are a decent option for this type of skiing (and seem to reflect some of the ideas here). Plus love the fischer offtrack crown pattern on corn.
