I think that depends on the ski and your conditions. I'm 175cm tall and 72 Kg (before the Halloween candy) and live and ski in the Wasatch (Utah) and also have a quiver of skis for resort and "side country" skiing going from a pair of 160cm 84mm underfoot skis to a pair of 185cm 116mm underfoot skis.

I'd guess something in the 175 to 180cm length and 80 to 90mm underfoot would be reasonable for your height and location, if you are average ht/wt.

Do you recall what you rented when you tried it initially?
