Used for sure, ski bags are pretty overbuilt and gear weenies get new ones every year thinking they need the latest tech that's completely unnecessary. Even just use whatever pack you have and look up how skimo peeps rig their skis with webbing/paracord/carabiner.

I use this pack, it's not a ski pack and it's over ten years old. The guide in the video shows how to rig your skis at the 3:10 minute mark

There are variables, of course; when, where, pack design, gear choices, etc. 35L should easily carry all the usual stuff, with some room to spare. Last few years I've been touring with a 30L, and liking it.

I have this Swedish pack, I have both the 20L and 30L. I wear the 20L when I am pulling a pulk, carries my water and anything else I need handy. I have the 30L for day trips without pulk. It can A-frame the skis and has a pocket for Ava gear.. It is not wide so it stays very close to your back, no bulge behind you. Haglofs is high quality gear.
