I heard other teammates will be joining her in race. Brother and I signed up for 53k classic in last wave. First Birkie should be a zoo starting in back with traffic and whats left of classic tracks. Here's a good channel for world cup races including this past weekend. Really enjoy the British commentators over US coverage they always have better insight and tidbits. https://www.youtube.com/@worldcupskiing2023/videos
Channel was taken down, bummer. How does one watch replays of the races in Sweden for free?

Edit: guess not possible without paying

Good write-up: https://nordicinsights.news/2023/12/02/ ... ukli-13th/

Also look at the domination, she just drew off continuously through the whole race:

The U.S. xc ski team has been really ramping up the past few seasons. It started with the Diggins and the women's team, and now even the men's team has some serious power too, particularly in the form of Ben Ogden. I've really been enjoying watching them progress. Is anyone here planning on attending the upcoming World Cup races in Canmore or Minneapolis?

Are they actually going to be able to race in mpls? It's 50s and rainy there all week, with what I imagine is 0 base, followed by a week of 30s/20s so I guess making snow might be possible 6 days before the race.

I sure hope they'll be able to race. We'll see I guess. My understanding is that they have some pretty big snowmaking capacity out there, so fingers crossed.

All the bad news in the world today. Some good news that truly makes me emotional. World Cup nordic races in Minneapolis! Gus Shumacher first place 10k skate!!!! Jessie on the podium in front of her hometown fans!!!!. And thousands of Americans from all 50 states wildly cheering for all of the racers, no matter what country they represent!!! Feels damn good!!!
