A recent rumor I read said that Fischer, Crispi and Lundhags would launch Xplore boots, so this corroborates that. If Crispi (as well as Lundhags) joins Alpina and Alaskaon Xplore, then most of the manufacturers of NNN-BC shoes have joined. I don't think Rottefella would charge a license fee for the boots as they make/sell the soles, but it would be interesting to know the price differential there. I do hope this will give a diverse selection of boots, both low and fast XC-oriented, as well as nice high and stiff XCD-oriented boots. It will be interesting to see new models.

Actually, looking more precise (compare some products of Fischer, Alfa, Alpina), this was the same system with NNN-BC sole probably.
Economically, have one set of injecting mold (per number) and robot, inserting before rubber casting, makes sense for a small niche market as BC is.

I was over at Zamberlan yesterday. I wish they would make a boot, they really make good boots, and still in Italy.

It looks as Rottefella patented also sole, which has clever 2 color design, to fit specific producer color scheme.

We can only guess about the license fee, probably preventing more boot producers to enter the XP scheme...
Sounds like they are all going to make them. Many already buy a sole anyway from companies like Vibram (Italy) anyway. They are smart making the sole themselves because it has to be extremely precise, if every boot=maker made their own sole there would be much finger pointing when problems arose between the boot and the binding.

If a boot-maker wants to sell Nordic BC boots they have to make the Xplore boots, it's the future.

The Xplore soles are not all two color, my wife's Alfa Skaget has all black soles.

I received my Fisher Transnordic 66's yesterday from Telemark-Pyrenees via UPS Express. I ordered them last Sunday and received them on Wednesday. That's exceptionally fast from France to Driggs Idaho! I've had items from the Midwest take a week longer! I bought 205's and I believe that was the only pair in that size as they no longer show 205 available on their site. I think that they may have only received one pair in each size so if anybody is interested in a Fischer ski, buy now!

The build looks to be typical Fischer quality. My first double camber ski in quite awhile. Very excited to mount them up with XPlore bindings. Still need boots.

That is awesome and they have plenty of sizes as well ! Looks like the price has gone up from $299 for the bare skis ? Hopefully 2023 prices will not keep going up. :|
