Is this a decent touring boot and is it comparable to a T2?

I think it's a good bit heavier than a T2, probably weighs closer to a T1. Pretty high cuff. The flex is super sweet, but it's really more of a tele boot. Very high volume fit; I really wanted those to work for me way back when, but they were just too roomy, even with the beefy liners Garmont used. Harris posted on them a few years back (haven't seen Harris around here in a couple years).

Any luck finding those Excursions?

Yeah, thanks for that info. My friend was going to pull the trigger at Adventure Nordic for his wife, but because of the cost of both of them having to gear up she told him to get his stuff first. That may have been the last opportunity to get new excursions.

What size Excursions are you looking for. I have some 25/25.5's gathering dust. My wife switched to AT.

They would be to fit a womens 8 or 9. her foot measures 25cm with normal volume. What size shoe does your wife wear?

She wears women's size 8 in most shoes. I can measure her feet later today if needed. The Excursion shell has plenty of room for her (almost two fingers), but the overall fit is a bit tight because of the thick stock liner.
