It's only a screen grab from a social media post, but it looks legit!

I wonder if the price will be substantially less than the other, more advanced/feature-laden binders out there... Maybe that's Voile's angle. I dunno.
I do know that I like Voile's bindings in general. They've always worked well for me, and I like their ease of use and simplicity. Maybe this one will be like that too.
Will that heel lever work with current NTN boots? Does the Crispi Shiver have a clear enough heel channel for that heel lever to hold?

If it doesn't work with the heel channel, you can use the "crampon ledge" just above. That's what I do with TTS with my older version of Scarpa F1 AT boots with bellows.

Looks clean, light and simple. Now we need some lightweight boots. Whatever became of that Crispi BC boot?

Agreed. Vibram needs to make hiking/mountaineering soles with tech inserts for XC leather boot options.12gaugesage wrote: ↑Sat Mar 21, 2020 10:14 amLooks clean, light and simple. Now we need some lightweight boots. Whatever became of that Crispi BC boot?

Interesting. I’m a big Voile fan. Longtime Switchback user . But recently put together a Kreuzspitze Telealps kit based set up for touring and total weight came in at approximately 2.3lbs all in with crampon adapter. Also, you can remove cable assembly( I built it with a Voile Switchback hardwire assembly) and stow it in backpack when touring and climbing , resistance free. Then simply place back on the binding for downhill. We be interesting to read reviews on the new Voile option.

I would like to know how it does compare in terms of tele-resistance, Voile Switchback vs Kreuz Tele in first (close to toe pice) pivot position... Thanks.TA1 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 16, 2020 6:04 pmInteresting. I’m a big Voile fan. Longtime Switchback user .
