Off-Season Training Recommendation

Post by MrsLongskis » Wed Mar 28, 2018 12:03 pm

If anyone is looking to get in shape for a ski vacation or just make the most of their season I highly recommend StrongBoard. I have no interest in the company (not an owner or instructor) but I've taken a few classes and every single time I find myself thinking "Wow. Those are my tele muscles!" The blend of strength and balance are just right for tele training. You can use their site to find a studio near you or get your own board and workout at home. Check it out: https://strongboardbalance.com/find-a-strongboard/

this may date me, but....
in the early 60's, my dad made a bongo board to get ready for skiing out of plastic tube and plywood deck. as is had no groove or fancy springs, i could do a 180 (with some practice)
