The only boots I have used for all my skiing for the last couple years are T4s - I have used them so much that when I dragged them out this year I noticed they are looking pretty battle scarred. This year I am using Fischer E89 (actually for 3-4 years) for xc trails tracked or not (I know I look like a hillbilly when I am at a nordic ski area - don't care). I have 191 cm Voile Charger BCs with G3 Targas, and I just got an old pair of 188 cm Volkl Vertigos (I put G3 targas I had on) that I am using for resort skiing. I skiied a day at Sunshine in Banff on the BC Chargers, and didnt find it hard to control them with t4s although I was tired at the end of the day(the drag is really noticeable to me), which I put down to them not being a great resort ski. I liked the Volkl vertigos and now have skied a few days on them. Its possible that size and weight makes controlling big skis different than for someone smaller than me (6'4,270) and it might also be that I don't really know what I am talking about since I have never used heavier stiffer boots (never found one that fit).
