Re: Pictures, pictures and pictures!
Not XCD...but I wanted to share these photos I took of the beautiful Afterglow Lake Resort up in Phelps, Wisconsin (buried in the Nicolet National Forest) on New Years Eve.
I was on my Fisher Ridge Crown XC skis for the first time in a couple of years. This may have been the last time I use a pair of edgeless skis...

Very nice Muggs.
Just FYI - if the edgeless XC skis aren't doing it for you, there are plenty of skinny metal edge skis out there. They are quite a bit heavier but I actually like them better for skating.

Similar color as my Pavos, which I haven't skied in years. Seen in the rack at Smuggs this past weekend.

Loving my new setup, Volkl Nanuq, Scarpa T2, 22 design Axl by Mike, on Flickr
So cold this Sunday. Kids in ski school. The wife and I skied most of the day and my nephew came along with his board. Cold hard snow. Ice on the narrow woods trails. Decent where they groomed. And there was some soft ungroomed stuff if you looked for it. 5°F when we left the house in Burlington. Must have been -°F at the summit of Madonna.
Enjoying the new setup. I would not have skied anywhere near the level nor the amount in my Epochs + T4s that I've skied previously 3-4 years. Although I do enjoy them.

WELP, some things never change. Falling flat on my face is a Woodserson Tradition that I aspire to, apparently.
The skis are Rossi's. My first pair.

Skied above the clouds last Sunday @ Smuggs
Inversion on Madonna. Wow. by Mike, on Flickr
Conditions were pretty rough later in the day with very low visibility. Decent snow, decent turning, although going right I still seem to fight with edge control.
