Some XCD activity has gotten even lighter since Barnett's book - there is an article in the current "Backcountry" mag about people doing alpine traverses in the Sierra on skate skis. Traveling great distances in one day. Looks cool.

Don't know if the fellas from Red Fang ski...but they are better at drinking beer and playing punk/metal than being knights! I wonder what kind of music the knights listen to before they XCD ski...
