FS: Lundhag Expedition Guide BC 47 new
New never used. $300usd. I'll pay shipping up to $30, above that you pay the difference. Note on sizing: I wear 47: Alpina Alaska, Rossignol BCX 10, and Lundhag Guide. Due to the construction of the toe box area in the Expedition Guide I am much better suited for the 46 in this particular model. Hig...

Re: Gear Basket
Free the Powder gloves just released their fall catalog, which has factory seconds and discontinued items for good prices. I've used FtP gloves since 2019, they're well made and warm, and I esp. like the fact that the liners can be removed for drying, and replaced if worn or damaged, on some models...

Re: Åsnes NOSI 76 Ski Review
There are two different skis now, the Nosi 76 Xplore https://www.asnes.com/produkt/nosi-76-xplore/ and the Nosy 76 https://www.asnes.com/produkt/nosi-76-lett-toppturski/. Maybe two different constructions or at least two different internals as both seem to be cap skis and the weight for the 180 is t...

Re: Fischer SBound 88
Can anyone provide feedback on the SBound 88 (not Excursion). I was considering buying new excursion 88s, but just found online a used pair of SBound 88s. I can find very little info online about these. The seller indicates she got them in 2021 from REI. As a new Backcountry skier who will be in fa...

Re: Xplore screws sourcing
Hey. I emailed Rottefella but have not received a response. I have one of the first issue xplore bindings with tiny short screws. Where can I source longer screws that work with the binding hole cut-outs? Thanks! What length are your screws. I just bought 2 pairs and all the screws in both boxes ar...

Re: Xplore screws sourcing
I went with inserts and have a LOT of extra screws. If you can send a picture of your current screw and the length I can compare it to mine to see if it is any different. Let me know what you're measuring, whether it is the entire screw or just the length of the threads. I don't care which it is ju...

You bet. No bindings though. Send me a PM with your email address I'll send you a video of the skis and you can decide. I'm around today and tomorrow morning then again next week.

Re: Åsnes NOSI 76 Ski Review
Has anyone seen the Asnes' new 76mm AT ski?!? https://www.asnes.com/produkt/r-76-alpine-touring/ Holy frackin sidecut!!! Euros love their short but big sidecut skis for touring. It's very interesting, after powder snow you see these very little short radius turns everywhere. They (usually middle ag...

Re: Modern Tele Ski
When I was (still am) trying to develop a good carved turn, part of the difficulty was that in a carve, the skis accelerate like crazy. The only way to slow down, without skidding, was to continue the turn to the point that I was across, rather than down, the hill. So for carving specifically, I'd ...

Re: Modern Tele Ski
I've attached a graphic showing the side profile of two skis, the Volkl Blaze 94 and the Blizzard Brahma 88. If you look at the areas of the skis labeled 'rise', you can see that the Blaze 94 has a long area in which the bases of the skis are not touching each other, while the Brahma 88 has much le...
