Re: M Free 108
182 M-Free 108 here. If dynasties did a 185 it would also be fine, but the 190+ would be too much for anything tight or technical

Re: M Free 108
Quick update here for those who might also mount up a pair of M-Free 108 tele. I mounted a pair of large Axls at recommended line, boot center. Skied two days at that location, one powder day and one groomer/old snow day, and felt that (a) I was too far “over” the shovels in powder and (b) the (stif...

I like the Marmot ROM Pant. Brand equivalent to Arcteryx Alpha FL, Mammut Base Jump SO, Patagonia Mixed Guide (RIP), etc

Re: M Free 108
What mounting point did folks use for the M Free 108? I typically do 1-2cm off recommended line using boot BAL given I’m mondo 30, T Race, and 200lbs+
Measured on my MFree 108/182 -2cm looks about right with tip/tail rise and camber. Feedback appreciated.

Re: TTS options...
Mikesee: Speed toe pieces are pretty much the original Dynafit design with DIN 10 toes plus optional, manual lock out. Ive found them to be durable and easy to use with minimal fiddling. Like most hobbies, it takes time to become super smooth getting in and out. FWIW have used OMG toes (don't use, t...

Re: TTS options...
I also use F1 and F3 TTS set ups. I suggest purchasing an OMG TTS plate, springs, and heel throw from OMG (easy installation and 3x settings hits the spot), then source two Dynafit Speed Radical toe pieces from Skimo.com This set up is a KISS rig that is also foolproof and hardy. FWIW I also do free...

Re: Voile 3 Pin Cable Setup
I only tighten mine enough to keep them from popping open. Plenty of tension for downhill control and unfortunately too much for resistance free touring. When I'm doing laps I just leave the cables on and I seem to get used the extra resistance. So is the general process then to just gradually tigh...

Re: Voile 3 Pin Cable Setup
I have a 3 pin hardwire on a set of Annums and an OG gold hardwire, non 3p binding on voile vector BCs. Both are used for yo-yo laps though I tend to be open to longer approaches on the Annum. I use a garmont excursion or crispi antarctic boot. With the 3p Annum I tighten the springs sufficient to k...

runckle: Agreed - wish I had more. Stingers were a random Sierra Trading Post find from earlier this year.
