Re: Voile 3 Pin Cable Climbing Wire Compatibility
Just mounted some Voile 3-Pins with cables, including the 48mm climbing wires between the spacer and heel pad. Question for others with this setup....after installation, does it take a ridiculous amount of force to move the climbing wire into and out of its elevated position? As instructed, I kept ...

Re: XCD Skis for Midwest Terrain
You have way more general skiing experience than i do, so filter my input through your own experience. I’d say Excursion 88s if you favor touring and xc performance, and S-bound 98s if you favor yo-yo laps for turns (they aren’t great on really hard snow, but that goes for just about all xcd setups...

Re: Solid yet economical NNN-BC boot, Rossignol BC X10
Also scored a good deal on these Rossi BC X10s, I think $70 USD this past winter at a Play It Again Sports? Had some good days out on them with my S-Bound 70s, but trying to make some potential gear decisions this summer. Two questions for others with these boots: 1) Have you ever tried BC X10s on a...

XCD Skis for Midwest Terrain
Greetings all, SE Wisconsin skier here. After ~15 or so years of classic xc, ~8 or so years of skate xc, alpine, and snowboarding, I finally discovered tele skiing last winter and got instantly hooked. My quiver is quite extensive at this point, but the hole I’m really trying to fill is an XCD setup...

Re: Let's talk poles
Anyone have success in replacing lost baskets? I lost one in the snow last night and could not recover it.

Re: Am I really in Duluth?
We’re finally getting some solid snow in SE WI. I’m very stoked to have the big cold coming in behind it. Hoping to do more BC skiing through the wooded trails along the river and working some tele turns into the mix. Looks like we should have a good base, and maybe some pond hockey too. First post!...
