Re: Beginner boots for Kom/Hok's
Interesting discussions here. I really had no idea that Hoks were would handle so differently from traditional Tele skis; I just assumed I couldn't do turns was because the universal bindings I was using wouldn't support my weight on edge (I'm about 240lb, 5'9"). 125's don't fully support my weight ...

Re: Beginner boots for Kom/Hok's
I probably should have mentioned that I'm more into the XCD than AT, like rolling terrain. And I don't really expect to being doing a TON of turns this year, since I've never really done telemarking. Re: Beginner boots for Kom/Hok's

I should have mentioned that I'd prefer a leather boot at this point, especially since I'll be buying online, and I have had alot of issues with DH boots being too narrow. I'm pretty sure you can have whatever bi...

Beginner boots for Kom/Hok's
Hey all, last season I got good use out of my 125cm Altai Hok's with the universal bindings. This year I want to learn to do a few turns. Where do I start? I figured 75mm 3 pin would be best, but all the boots I keep reading about are discontinued; Fischer Transnordic's and Rossi BC X-12's are all o...
