Xplore screws sourcing

Hey. I emailed Rottefella but have not received a response.

I have one of the first issue xplore bindings with tiny short screws. Where can I source longer screws that work with the binding hole cut-outs?

Thanks!

Re: Modern Tele Ski

I think you're the first person I've seen mention Volkl Blaze 94 for telemark. I noticed that it has a long rise tip and tail, going deep toward the center of the ski. Do you feel this on snow? I've found that I don't like too deep tip and tail rocker for telemark, it makes the ski feel too short. ...

Re: Modern Tele Ski

I used to like stiffer skis with metal, but I'm getting more seasoned and enjoy a softer ski much more now. Just look for lighter skis with a metal reinforcing mounting area. I have really been enjoying the volkl blaze 94s. Just a great round flex for the tele-turn. Not for the speed demon or boiler...

Re: Scarpa F1 with Transit Questions

Thanks, fisheater, THat is what I was looking for. The like new F1's are $250 which seem a bit expensive given, I am holding a pair of F1 races which were pretty well used, but life left, of $28. Seems the F1 races may be better anyway. Purpose of this setup is general touring for my wife with some ...

Scarpa F1 with Transit Questions

I am putting together a new lighter weight BC setup. Plan is for Voile Endeavor BC and Transit Bindings. I found an older pair of well used F1 Race last year for nearly free and could also buy a like new pair of regular F1 boots. A few Questions for F1 skiers: 1. Are the F1 races or standard F1's pr...

Re: Skiing Bigger Descents in the XCD Style

Keep the lineup but give us a break on cost for the lower technology skis. At this point they are expensive and really expensive. If they dropped the Ultravector and Endeavor to $650 it would make their lineup have a bit more sense.

Re: PSA: milsurp Scarpa T4s

Appreciate feedback. Will hold for a cheap pair of T2s. I too have T1s from 15 years ago (silver black version) and toured with them 100+ days, but over touring with that stiff and heavy of a boot. Just need something stronger than excursions to drive my army surplus hyper vectors with switchbacks. ...

Re: PSA: milsurp Scarpa T4s

I have a pair of excursions which are good with karhu guides, but too soft for my voile ultra vectors with switchbacks.

Do the T4s have more backbone than excursions? The locking back looks more promising than the non locking excursion.

Thanks. Jeff

Anybody know the difference between new liner style and old liner style?
