believe it or not I don't ever do the super low stance. I ski fairly aggressive, but this was nothing...just a 35 degree powder slope. That's why I'm curious if this has happened to others...
I like the T nut idea. Why not?

I've been using a voormi hardened wool layer on top of a short sleeve wool shirt. I literally use it from 5-30 degrees. I zip on the hood when I get cold. I unzip it down to the stop when it gets warm. I throw on a goretex jacket for the downhill and if the weather turns sour.
