started this thread at the end of last season to see what's out there, bumping it now to see if anyone knows of any ski race/events that are xcd focussed. last season it seemed like the answer was "not really, I guess we'll have to make our own." so maybe we will. but are there any other examples of...

@fisheater I have a petzl sirocco helmet that's incredibly light and breathable, hardly even notice the thing.

lots of great info already posted, I'll throw in a few cents' worth too... the bc conditions here have sucked the past few years, so it's helpful (sometimes essential) to consider an area that encompasses VT, NH, and the dax. two of the three often get washed out/stay dry while the other gets a bliz...
