ISO: G3 Targa Toe Wedges
Does anybody have the rocker launch reducing tow wedges for G3 targas and the associated larger screws that they'd be willing to sell? Does anybody know somewhere they might be available from?

Re: Scarpa T2X 29.0
These are still available. If you're located a little farther away somewhere in Massachusetts, New Hampshire or southern Maine I'd be willing to drive a bit to meet somewhere in between. I also often go farther north for skiing. Let me know if you have any questions. The price is flexible.

Re: How Much Does Metal Mounting Plate Matter?
Ok, so if I understand what you are saying then what I was thinking is correct, of course more force from skiing harder on downhills will increase the chance but the increase of risk over alpine is due to the pulling force resulting from lifting the heel. So I would think a more active binding like ...

How Much Does Metal Mounting Plate Matter?
Lots of people talk about having metal in the mounting area of ski used for downhill telemark to prevent binding pullout but XCD skis don't have metal and people don't seem to have a problem with it. Is this more due to the fact that XCD skis aren't skied as hard or is it because more neutral bindin...

Scarpa T2X 29.0
For sale, red Scarpa T2X in 29.0 mondo. They're in good condition but the rubber sole is worn some on the toe. The 3 pin holes are still in good shape though. There are no footbeds with the boots. I'm looking for $150 but I'm willing to consider reasonable offers. I'm not really interested in dealin...

Re: Is the Dynastar Powertrack 84 a good Tele ski?
Looking at some Liberty V76 now. A bit narrow but I'll be mainly using it on groomed anyway. I just wonder if it will be too stiff for targas and t2x.

Re: Is the Dynastar Powertrack 84 a good Tele ski?
I'm 5'9" tall and 160lbs. I got a pair of 164 EXP 84's for the express purpose of learning to carve. Because I wasn't that good at it, I went short with a 12m turn radius - take THAT, Deer Valley! That was mainly because I kept going fast enough to scare myself on longer skis. They allowed me to sp...

Re: Is the Dynastar Powertrack 84 a good Tele ski?
I'm not a fan of used skis for telemark inbounds. With alpine gear, the boot/binding can do a lot to mitigate the degradation in performance that I notice after about 100 days of skiing. If you're looking at powder day skis, that's a bit different, but for inbounds, hard pack east coast conditions,...

Re: Is the Dynastar Powertrack 84 a good Tele ski?
From reviews and such, it sounds as though the PT84 is a "carver". The 176 has a 15m turn radius, so I would expect it to hook up in the turn pretty well. It has a flatter tail paired with some early rise. Are these new, or used? Previously mounted with alpine? What is it about this ski that appeal...

Is the Dynastar Powertrack 84 a good Tele ski?
I'm looking for a ski to use mainly on trail at the resort to work on my technique. I found a couple pairs of Dynastar Powertrack 84s for sale at a good price, one in 183cm and one 176cm. Does anybody have an opinion on if the powertrack would be a good tele ski or have experience with it? I would d...
