Re: leg strength exercises

I tely in winter and mountain bike in summer. That takes care of stuff from the waist down. I really should do more upper body stuff. I run out of cardio (being old stinks) before I run out of strength. And I run out of leg strength before I run out of cardio. At my age I don't think there's a damn...

Re: Chest Pack

I'm tired of shoving my skins down my bibs, trying to cram them into my pant's pockets, or taking my pack on and off constantly. I would like to find some kind of chest pack for stashing kicker skins, full length skins, some kick waxing stuff, and other accessories. Has anyone found anything that w...

https://res.cloudinary.com/mountaintopcoding-127956/image/upload/v1730597962/Telemark%20Talk/IMG_3925_v3vd6k.jpg I picked these bindings up at REI for $60. They are missing one screw and the plastic screw covers... I would very much like to get a few extra screws. I was going to email Rotefella and...

Great. I will take a photo and post. Thanks!
I'm about to dig out my ski stuff and start tuning. I don't know how many you need but I'm happy to drop enough for a set or two in a padded mailer and send 'em your way, gratis!

Re: Xplore screws sourcing

Hey. I emailed Rottefella but have not received a response. I have one of the first issue xplore bindings with tiny short screws. Where can I source longer screws that work with the binding hole cut-outs? Thanks! I went with inserts and have a LOT of extra screws. If you can send a picture of your ...

Re: Scarpa F1 with Transit Questions

The F1 + Transit combo is my favorite with the Voile Objective and I also prefer it on piste where I ski it with the Atomic Maverik 86 c. I tried it with the Asnes FT62 but it was a bit much for that set up though I may try it again this winter. I also skied the Transit one day with the tall Scarpa ...

Re: Leather Boot Stretching Question --

Does anyone know what's a safe and effective way to stretch the width of the boot right where it flexes across the forefoot? I have never had this work and I've tried it different ways over about 40 years with many sets of boots, cleats, shoes, etc. My conclusion is that leather might stretch a lit...

Re: Lundhags Guide Explore BC Boot too tight...

This boot has a really thick wool insole. Remove that insole and try something thinner. I use a SuperFeet insole for a lot of my ski boots. It fixed the problem for me 100% and now it is a super comfortable boot.

Sort of interested in 41 if you decide to sell
I replaced the VERY thick wool insole with something a little thinner and the 40 fits great. It'll need a little breaking in but if you are interested in the 41 I paid $227. You can have it for that plus shipping.
