Re: Switchback X2 with Dynastar Legend 96 -- OK? Or not OK?
Querying the telemark hive mind... For the last five seasons or so, I've been skiing a pair of 2014 Dynastar Cham 97 High Mountain skis with Axl bindings on them . That combination has been working very well for me. No real issues except that I think I chose too short a length of those skis, 172 cm...

Re: Asnes vs Fischer Waxless
Hi All, I have a couple pairs of Asnes wax skis but still find an occasional need for waxless . My current Fischer traverse 78 waxless are just not as grippy as they used to be and I find myself having to use the kicker skins for even modest climbing. There's currently a pair of Asnes Cecile waxles...

Re: Spend my money!
A few times a winter I go explore some new place via skis, and the route is chosen so that I can at least partially float back out in a packraft. I do several day trips like this, and sometimes multi-day or even multi-week . Example day trip: https://lacemine29.blogspot.com/2021/03/beware-ides.ht...
