Scarpa T4's size 290 for sale

I am selling a pair of older Scarpa T4's. Size is 11 / 44.5 / 290. The boots are in good condition. Delivery within EU would probably make sense.

Re: Learning to turn with Gammes

Another day on Gammes after transitioning to b-tele! Snow was somewhat challenging today. We had 40-45 cm of powder, which was great. However, temps were rising, and the snow felt heavy. Further, wind had started to create crust. Also, there were many tracks already, mostly of snowboarders. In today...

Re: 2022 Falketind 62 Xplore 196 cm First Impressions

I had an oppurtunity to ski downhill in 30-70 cm powder with my new 2022 FTX’s. The skis are 196 cm, for my 83 kg weight. I also skied some XC on my way back, it was a nice and sunny blue wax day :) On a 10°slope, the FTX’s worked well, when there was about 50 cm or less powder. In 70 cm of soft sno...

Re: -40°C in Finland

First Arctic trip I did, my -45 rated bag collapsed due to moisture (bad management on my part) on the night that the mercury hit -40 C. It was beyond unpleasant and borderline dangerous. I since learned about VBL bags and use one now... life changing! I'm a very hot/sweaty person though, so moistu...

Re: Pinnah's Simple Kick Waxing For Touring

@Lhartley I think too much wax can also make snow stick, when weather gets weird. I normally put 3-4 thin layers or less.

Re: Pinnah's Simple Kick Waxing For Touring

@tkarhu which Vaughti Carrot are you having good success, I found a few variations on my wax supplier’s web sight. Speaking of Vaughti waxes, under some situations I find Vaught Pure Pro White to be Nordic magic. It’s a wax that works really well, when it works in temps just below freezing. It’s ra...

Re: Rossignol is going XP

It is hard to say from Rossignol marketing, it could be all off. From reading reviews, BC 120 sounds like a good ski. From all around internet I can find 10-15 reviews, of course usually short and incomplete. Nearly all of them suggest to me that the ski is/was way different from earlier BC 125. So...

Skyllermarks say 25m on theirs. Understood that length isn't the defining factor but curve of the blade. But a shorter length also allows for easier crossovers etc.
Yes, and 100 g weight difference per skate made a difference, too, when I got new skates. The NIS’s are quite light.
