Did you sell these?JohnSKepler wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2024 10:51 pmI replaced the VERY thick wool insole with something a little thinner and the 40 fits great. It'll need a little breaking in but if you are interested in the 41 I paid $227. You can have it for that plus shipping.

Re: Short, waxable ski recommendation
The Åsnes kicker skin attachment is very reliable... at peeling the kicker skin off of the ski. IMO it is a seriously flawed design. I have never had this happen. Has it been common for you? Granted, I haven't used their skins except for steep climbs and very, very rarely when not wanting to wax fo...

I'd ignore rando, he pastes marketing info really well but cannot think for himself nor offer much of value. Just my 2c tho.

Re: 75mm binding too wide for my boot
Actually fisheater what do the Dovre look like and how do they fit the Alaskas? Dovre made 71, 75 and 79mm bindings, some with 3 screws, some with 5. If they look good and fit I'd send you postage fees. The EMS I have are very light but also seem kinda fragile and aren't the best looking, and this s...

Re: 75mm binding too wide for my boot
fisheater , thanks but I don't know if that is necessary, maybe save the postage... I do have EMS 75mm that have the same hole positions and are actually 75mm and fit the Bre nicely, so I guess I will just use those. My issue was that while the holes line up, the pins are about 1cm up, though I gue...

In several emails seen by Expressen and descri...

"The name, ‘Hok’ {hawk}, is the Tuwa word for ski in the Altai Mountains." Spit on that thang?
More seriously, what would be the advantage of this over Kom since dimensions are similar? Skin vs scales, plate plus insert...what other differences?

Re: 75mm binding too wide for my boot
These are Crispi Bre. I suppose I could try other boots but my old (80s?) Crispi Mountain and UK Army Surplus Alico Ski March all fit the same as far as width goes in my other bindings (the Ski March has a thicker duckbill which is an unrelated issue--the width and lateral play between them all is t...
