@randoskier it was in Pallastunturi. In Kilpisjärvi and Inari there is still polar night. In Pallas the polar night just ended.

@telerat are those Lundhags T-skates? Great idea to have the Xplore binding on skates. Might have to copy this idea! Any other skates that would fit the Xplore binding?

KnoxPolk telerat Have you used the heel riser on the Xplore bindings already and how did your boot perform? I took my Vista Advance boots out in the weekend and when using the heel riser the boot flexed under the ball of the foot. It is of course to be expected as the sole is designed to flex there...

I have read the tread about the Alfa Guard and will try some of the tips from there. Volume definitely seems to be (part of) the problem. ...

Thanks telerat ! I had to gamble a little bit with the boots. I couldn't try them anywhere near where I live and followed Alfa's sizing guide. If I want to return them I first need to get them back to my friend in Norway and then order new ones. The real ''problem" is maybe more that they are wide. ...
