Re: Pictures, pictures and pictures!
Nice. My old stomping grounds. Once upon a time I was a ski instructor down the street from you. It's amazing how much difference there is in being south facing, Vs. Pinebrook facing north. 2 months less winter! Yep, more time golfing and less time shoveling snow on the north side of the highway. T...

We're not getting as much snow as Utah but conditions have been great in Western Colorado. Here's a pic from last night on the Uncompahgre Plateau -

Re: Pick my next NNNBC Ski
Thanks for the mention Stephen. I looked at that the other day after reading up on the MR48. I'm a little wary of the integrated skin. If it was the regular MR48 I would have already made the purchase as it appears to be a great price. Given the available options, I'm looking at the Ousland and Finn...

Re: Pick my next NNNBC Ski
spopepro you voice one of my concerns. I want to be track capable but still agile enough to ski ungroomed singletrack. Perhaps those are two diametrically opposed capabilities for a nordic ski... I don't have enough experience in groomed tracks to say. I would sacrifice some capability in the tracks...

Pick my next NNNBC Ski
Hey all, longtime lurker infrequent poster. Getting a little tired of reading about physics so thought I would start a gear thread and enlist your help in picking my next ski. I count myself lucky to ski 3-4 times a week. A couple days a week in the late afternoon after work I ski my NNNBC setup (SB...

Re: Alpine Touring vs. NTN (and perhaps other options) - looking for thoughts on a new setup
Just now seeing the additional feedback. Thanks guys. I am interested in getting more competent at the telemark turn on my existing NNN BC setup. Most my friends are alpine skiers so figuring out xcd / telemark turns on my own through trial and error. As a pretty advanced alpine skier, it has been a...

Re: Alpine Touring vs. NTN (and perhaps other options) - looking for thoughts on a new setup
Appreciate the feedback. I do hope to continue improving my telemark skills in my current setup. Just lack the skill/confidence to take on steeper descents with my current setup. Thinking AT may be the way to go for now.
Thanks again
