Re: Need lightweight Tele ski recommendations

Hey Dude, the T4 Ultra Vector is my ultimate quiver of one set up, if there was such a thing, and it goes well with the SB. I think you will love it for what you want to do. You can also kick wax them for lowangle tours and laps I ski bigger skis than the UV with T4s with good results, but I didn't...

Re: Need lightweight Tele ski recommendations

I cant preach too much about lighter I have Annums which weigh about the same as S Bounds, I do have a pair of X2 Switchbacks on them. I did have a pair of 3 pin cables on my old skis and these are simply Ferarris compared to those Fiats, but there are far from light, they tour really nice though. ...

Re: Need lightweight Tele ski recommendations

I would sell my soul for a lighter, modernized NTN version of the T4.

Need lightweight Tele ski recommendations

Hello fellow snow sports enthusiasts. I am purchasing a new ski setup soon and would love your help choosing skis. I currently ski on Sbound 112's, voile 3-pin cable bindings and Scarpa T4's. I like this setup for skiing singletrack and skinning laps at my local resorts (Breckenridge and Keystone), ...

Re: NNN BC Binding Slop

Thank you to everyone who has commented with suggestions and personal experience, it helps a lot. At this point, I think there are a couple of possibilities: 1. I may have a pair of bindings that are a bit off in terms of tolerance and durability. I'll ask my local retailer here in Summit County, CO...

Re: NNN BC Binding Slop

Thanks Tom and boby13! Tom, I appreciate the advice about bending the hook back in tighter. I think you're right, the binding may have just developed this play after a handful of crashes with plenty of off-axis torque being delivered to the binding. When you say file the metal hook down, do you mean...

Re: XCD - the past and future of skiing?

I agree with the sentiment that XCD makes mild terrain more interesting, is safe, and much less expensive than AT equipment. I think there are also times when it is simply the best tool for the job. Being able to control xc skis while downhilling opens the door to moving so much faster through the m...

Re: NNN BC Binding Slop

Thanks bgregoire for your response. Last year I rode Sbound 112's with a three pin binding. I had both the Voile Mountaineer 3pin, and the Voile Traverse 3pin with riser and detachable cable. The Sbound 112's were too much ski for a soft boot in my opinion. I tried Fischer BCX675 and Alpina Alaska 7...

NNN BC Binding Slop

Hi guys, long-time lurker, first-time poster here. I have come to notice that my NNN BC Rotefella Magnum bindings have developed quite a bit of side to side slop when the boot is attached. It drives me insane. I hate slop and it's not a small amount! Here is a link to a video I made illustrating the...
