FS: Scarpa T4 size 30.0 like new (Sold)
I picked these up for a good deal and sadly when I gave them a try they were too big  1525B0BF-19A3-4A54-BE50-6CA0652C3F78.jpeg They’re in mint condition and I can’t imagine they’ve been skied more than a couple times I’m looking for 150$ obo Located in Enfield NH I would prefer local, but woul...

Re: Karhu Pioneer & Catamount for newbie
I have a pair of 195cm Catamounts that I use with 75mm bindings. They’re very good in soft or choppy snow, but you’ll probably find them very slow on anything else. The kick zone is really big and they’re pretty soft so you get a ton of drag. They’re great for breaking trail and I’d describe them as...

Skiing after Dark?
Hey everyone! I’m sure just like many of you I’m not so patiently waiting for more snow here in NH. Last year I was working nights, so I had every morning free. The COVID situation has my winter schedule looking more like 9-5 (which I can’t say I’m happy about). So my question is what are people’s e...

Re: Advice on Lift service set up
I really appreciate all the advice so far! I've been shopping around on craigslist, facebook market place, and at some of the thrift stores that I know usually have old tele gear to see if I can find any of the recommendations given so far. I found a pair of Karhu outbounds with Rottefella 412s. The...

Re: Advice on Lift service set up
Are Merrell Fuzions more boot than what you're using for backcountry To answer this, yeah they’re much stiffer in the sole and cuff. I guess just giving them a try is the best way to find out. I did also find an old pair of scarpa t2s at a thrift store, they’re pretty thrashed but maybe I should gi...

Advice on Lift service set up
Hey everyone, This winter’s inconsistent snow has got me considering putting together a set up for a little lift service skiing to get a more skiing in. On my xcd setup (Madshus epoch 195s, Voile cable bindings, and medium duty backcountry touring boots) I’ve progressed enough to feel comfortable ta...

Re: XCd skiing in NH?
Upper Valley? Northeast Slopes in Corinth. Lift served XCD to get your practice on so you don't bust your noggin when you send it in the woods by your lonesome. This is a must ski place. Super friendly, $12 a day. Whaleback super cheap and XCD friendly too. Storrs Hill in Lebanon, also but NES is j...

XCd skiing in NH?
Hey everyone, I’m not sure where the majority of the user base is located but my question to the forum is if there are other xcd skiers in the Hanover NH area or more broadly the Upper Valley? Anyone know some good local spots or of any kind of meetup? I’m still pretty new to the downhill side of th...
