No snow here in New England (again) however I have a NordicTrack exercise ski machine collecting dust.
Has anyone ever tried to use traditional cross country gear with a NordicTrack?

Re: Leather Boots Care, Treatment and Maintenance
Is Zamberlan's hydrobloc leather conditioning cream a silicon based boot treatment like Scarpa's Hs12 Cream? Water based " Nikwax Conditioner for Leather" does not mention wax, oil, or silicon as an ingredient however Nikwax is listed as safe for Goretex. If I cannot find "Zamberlan's hydrobloc" wou...

Re: Will these leather Alpina Alaska NNNBC boots stretch out in the width?
Lots of helpful advice here. I don't know enough about leather boots to know if the cobbler can stretch them (especially with the molded sole). If someone else had tried this successfully I would move forward with that. I notice that these Guards come in a women's and men's fit. Impressive. Are ther...

Re: Will these leather Alpina Alaska NNNBC boots stretch out in the width?
My feet are certainly getting wider as I creep up in age. That, or I'm just more prone to noticing the pinch. I will give the boot stretcher at Footfitter.com a look. I have been tempted to just order the Alpha Guard just to see if that is the answer. I did not realize there was such a difference in...

Will these leather Alpina Alaska NNNBC boots stretch out in the width?
The length of the Alpina Alaska boot (46) is perfect, however the ball of my flat feet just don't have enough width to feel comfortable. Will these boots stretch out over time? Is there something I could do to them to stretch out the area around the ball of the foot. The point of flex in the sole is...

They don't auto play on my browser (chrome).. but they are looped. Maybe if they are un-looped they won't.Cannatonic wrote: why do those video's start playing automatically?

Will be able to give you a true comparison between the tip of the E109 and the 78 in a couple of days!! Can't wait for the comparison. Re: Info on old model Fischer (brown) BCS 5 and Fischer Spider
Tom M posted a video with the Fischer ( s-bound) Traverse 78's and I was encouraged by what I saw. Looks like these tips are very stable. Tom's videos are great (and he barely leaves a trace when skiing the hills of Wyoming). https://ytcropper.com/cropped/415c8feaeb3d74e https://ytcropper.com/cropp...

I did not notice any heel movement in the Alaska.
Still, I may try lacing them differently. The Bridgedale liners are a good deal:
