Re: Asnes Ingstad users question

Hi KnoxPolk Yes, this seems to be a B-grade. Probably from a few years back, and probably from one of the first seasons we made the new Ingstad design - based on the information and serial number. Usually, two skis with a "right ski design" is called a C-grade, or a 3rd pick. Because the skis are no...

Re: Asnes Ingstad users question

@Stephen The serial numbers on both skis are the same which is weird also :D About the skins I want to buy mohair 40mm race skins(pink one) and 58mm nylon for those really step ascents as with wider ski I can know challenge more demanding and steeper terrain. I will let you know once I received rep...

Re: Wildly speculative talk about Asnes 21-22 lineup: Otto/FT62

Updates going live on the website this week! https://www.en.asnes.com/ Well, it seems that you finally decides to keep the Mountain Tour 51 in your catalog or is that an error? I thought you were not supposed to offer it anymore? Also, there is the old picture of the Nosi76 in the English website. ...

Re: The new Rottefella XPLORE OFFTRACK Binding System Review

Here's a video from some of the testing and filming we've been doing with the new Falketind 62 and the Rabb 68 in combination with the Rottefella Xplore binding and the Alfra Free APS boots. It's basically our "walk the talk" approach to just showcast and tell what is actually possible with this sys...

Re: The new Rottefella XPLORE OFFTRACK Binding system

Well! Finally got a chance to read those UTE Magazine reviews of the Xplore binding and Free boot- Not impressed. Perhaps Crister is receiving fresh update test models as they work on it and Rottefella has increased the resistance of the standard flexor? Binding resistance is VERY important- not on...

Re: The Åsnes Thread (News for 2020-2021!)

@@Åsnes1922 What do you think about the early-tip rise, planing, and flotation between the Rabb 68 vs the Nosi 76? I know that the Nosi is wider underfoot- but neither of them are super wide and width isn't the only dimension that determines how a ski performs in deep soft snow... For example- the ...

Re: The new Rottefella XPLORE OFFTRACK Binding system

@@Åsnes1922 Thank you very much for giving us this excellent preview of Xplore binding. Your description of the Alfa Free boot is of particualr interest- I am wondering whether this new binding is worth the investment without getting a boot with enough support and torsional rigidity to take advanta...

Re: The new Rottefella XPLORE OFFTRACK Binding system

Crister, it is great to have your updates and insights on these new products. My most serious challenging terrain and snow ski is the Tindan. I still have not put out a review, as conditions just do not require more than my Falketind. However there are times the Falketind just isn’t enough ski, esp...
