Re: Skis Stuck In Sweden - how to get them to the USA?

I got a quote from Fedex and it was ridiculous $700. I showed the quote to my friend and she said she would bring the skis with her in the fall. :-)

Skis Stuck In Sweden - how to get them to the USA?

Hello there. I seem to be in slight predicament ;-) I bought a pair of 200cm skis a few months ago and had them shipped to a friend who lives in Sweden. Skiing northern portion of Sweden's Kungsleden trail

There was an interest after one of my posts in a trip report about our 2017 trip to ski the Kungsleden trail. Thank You as this rekindled memories of a fabulous trip: We flew to Stockholm from Boston with our skis and a duffel bag of ski boots, backpacks and winter trekking clothing. There is a spec...

One day from Abiskojaure to Tjaktja was particularly windy...we were the only ones to decide to go out and made it and feet we...

Re: First post, intro and a question about shortening Asnes kick skins

I think running hot iron over skins will recondition them. Just put wax paper over the sticky area before ironing. I have also in the past bought a tube of Pomoca skin glue and tried to put some on my old skins. That was in the past before I found out about ironing skins and the result was kind of b...
