Re: 2015 Åsnes Combat NATO
Hi, I have used my Combat Nato little more now, during this weekend about 40 km skiing. It has been snowing rather much during previous week so I tested deep snow skiing more with my Combat Nato. It really depend on the snow characteristics if one sink through the snow or not. On many places I sank ...

Re: Permanent integrated Skin in BC skis Sporten Explorer Skin
Hi, I read a funny comment in last issue in a Swedish "Outdoor Magazine" by one of my country's top skiers in the 1970th Sven-Ake Lundback https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sven-Åke_Lundbäck when a skier asked him what he thought about skiing "Nordenskioldsloppet" https://www.nordenskioldsloppet.se/en t...

Re: Alpina Alaska NNNBC
The shoelaces on my Alaska BC boots is worn out now after over 2.5 seasons use. They are rather nappy and after closer inspection I descided new laces was needed. The laces are 200 cm long, and I found nice black-darkred laces by Lundhags that worked fine as replacement, that has same type of materi...

Re: 2015 Åsnes Combat NATO

It is for mounting a Helper Sledge (first aid and auxillary sledge): http://www.hjelpekjelken.com/mile.jsp "The Helper Sledge is standard equipment in all NATOs snowoperative units." …"delivered to the Norw...

Re: Asnes Spitsbergen Expedition ski pole (pros and cons).
Hi, I got a response from Asnes about my Spitsberget Expedition ski poles. They said I could send it to them for inspection. They had never heard that these ski poles had broken. I wrote back to them that maybe I will send the ski poles to them for inspection. I have ordered new Spitsberget Expediti...

Re: 2015 Åsnes Combat NATO
Hi, I was out yesterday also with my Combat Nato. A 30 km tour. The snow was not quite so deep most of the time but on some places as deep as previous tour. When my Combat Nato did not sink so deep (in the not so deep snow) they really shine and you can move forward in a good speed. But in very deep...

Re: 2015 Åsnes Combat NATO
Hi, I got my Asnes Combat Nato delivered some days ago. https://www.en.asnes.com/produkt/combat-nato/ I was out on the first tour yesterday on the skis. It was about 20 km tour in about 30 cm snow with about 10-15 cm fresh snow. First I just want to say these Combat Nato seems to be good quality, sa...

Asnes Spitsbergen Expedition ski pole (pros and cons).
Hi, I have used Asnes Spitsbergen Expedition ski poles since Feb 2017. https://www.en.asnes.com/produkt/spidsbergen-expedition/ I have used them rather much. My poles are 160 cm long. I write these lines because of two things: to give a mini-review with pro and cons but also to warn what can happen ...

Re: Alpina Alaska NNNBC
Hi, My expereince with my Alpina Alaska BC during season 2017-18/19. When new they are stiff and that is little annoying, but they will soften as they are used but it will take a while before they get softer. Very stable in all directions for the foot. Not so heavy in my opinion, at least the weight...
