Re: The Alberta XCD thread

EVR is hiring. Young guy hited four weeks ago got a dozer/grader bid…it used to take years to get one. The Health and Wellness claim goes a long way to towards RCR passes.

Re: 2025 Tx Pro

Just had my 28’s liners baked, noticeable improvement in comfort and fit. They felt good when I tried them on, much better after baking. One boot weighs in at 1626 grams, the other at 1634. They’re about 300 grams lighter than my Garmont Synergy- very noticeable. Putting the boot on was easy, I’ve n...

Best price I’ve found in Canada yet. They still have sizes 27 & 29.

Re: Safety of higher stiff boots with NNN BC bindings

The Transnordic inspires confidence on easy descents but it still has a lot of flexibility when things go sideways so caution is urged. I used mine on forestry service roads, single track, and the occasional blue groomer if its not icy. Feel kinda heavy after a long day of breaking trail.

Garmont Synergy Size 29-30.5

Garmont Synergy. Good shape, no holes or cracks. Some scuffing. Nice boot, just a little big for me. $200 CDN or would trade for a size 28. Would also be interested in swapping towards an older Scarpa F1 or F3 (tech toe with bellows) in the 28-28.5 range.

Narrow skins

https://climberkyle.com/2024/02/22/how-to-make-your-own-g-skins/ Found this article regarding “G-Skins” that I thought I’d post. I’ve seen this subject briefly touched on a couple of times and recall reading comments supportive and negative about it. There’s been a couple of times I’ve used a narrow...

Ferreol Skis

Anybody check these Canadian made skis out?

Had an email exchange with them indicating many of their skis have been utilized for Telemark. The PIONNIER 104 looks very intriguing.
